We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Supervisor to join our team at our Akzo Nobel site in Goole
. You’ll be responsible for the warehouse function, managing your team and ensuring that all warehouse tasks are completed in line with company policies and customer requirements.

This role is being offered on a temporary fixed-term contract ending 31st July 2026.

Working Monday - Friday on a 2 weekly rotational shift pattern between the hours of 06:00 – 14:00 and 14:00 – 22:00
, you will be ensuring the smooth running of the warehouse operation, providing ongoing support and development to keep in line with the agreed budget and service targets.

• Lead the team in a professional, open manner, displaying consistency, honesty & integrity at all times. Deliver staff briefs, toolbox talks & training seminars effectively and positively
• Challenge processes, drive change and improvements whilst championing engagement across all levels of the business. Create, develop and maintain a positive team culture, by actively encouraging involvement from all to improve employee engagement
• Work with appropriate parties to provide solutions to team issues taking account of the appropriate policies, company values and ethical practice, escalating any issues promptly to line management

• Previous management experience, ideally from working in a similar fast-moving and customer-focused environment
• Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software
• An understanding of continuous improvement tools, health and safety, compliance, and employee relations
• Excellent team management skills, including professional reviews, RTW, appraisals and disciplinary
• Strong communication skills
