Graduate Accounts Assistant

I am currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing retail business based in Goole. Due to continued expansion, they are looking to appoint a driven and ambitious Graduate to join their team and develop into a future retail leader.

Working within the finance department, you will gain hands‑on experience across key areas including:

• Assisting with month‑end processes
• Processing invoices and managing purchase ledger
• Supporting sales ledger and credit control activities
• Bank reconciliations
• Preparing financial reports and data analysis
• Assisting with budgeting and forecasting
• Providing general support to the Finance Manager

This role offers strong development potential and exposure to the financial operations of a growing retail business.

• Recent graduate in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or related discipline
• Strong numerical and analytical skills
• High attention to detail
• Proficient in Excel (or eager to develop advanced skills)
• Organised, proactive and willing to learn
• Excellent communication skills

Previous finance or placement experience is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided.
