Here’s how the programme works. Whilst on the Apprenticeship you will be following the apprenticeship standard ST0841 Engineering Manufacturing Technician.
Programme structure will include:

Define the Future of Transportation:
Embark on your journey with us while taking part in our fantastic apprentice development programme. We will create a personalized training plan to help you develop the specific skills and knowledge required for your role. By the end of your programme, you will have the best knowledge and hands‑on experience to kick‑start your professional career at Siemens Mobility.
Essential Skills and Attributes
- You will have achieved or be on track to achieve at least 5 GCSEs grade 4 or above including Science and English language.
- You will have achieved or be on track to achieve GCSE Maths at grade 5 or above.
- You will have achieved or be on track to achieve a Level 3 Engineering Qualification.
- Alternatively, candidates must have achieved or be on track to achieve 3 A‑Levels in suitable subjects (e.g., maths & physics).
- Logical thinking, willingness to self‑learn and research, and a creative approach to problem solving.
- Ability to work independently, safely and responsibly; take ownership of challenges and ideas and look to develop your ability to drive and lead change.
- Enjoy collaborating with others to find innovative solutions.
