Salary Grade G Points 20 to 24 (£32,597.00 – £35,412.00 Full Time Equivalent). The minimum pro‑rata salary per annum for this role is £28,413.44.

You will work directly with families in a non‑judgemental way, empowering them to get the most out of the educational opportunities available. You will also support the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) in your role as Deputy DSL.

Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with families, parents/carers and students to identify and remove barriers to learning.
  • Coordinate with external agencies to support student welfare and educational attainment.
  • Assist the DSL in safeguarding duties and investigations.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of student welfare interventions.
  • Participate in school teams to promote an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
  • Support the implementation of the school’s welfare strategy and action plans.
