Local Truck Driver – Duncan Family Farms
Goodyear, AZ | Full-Time | Compost Transport + Farm Support

Duncan Family Farms is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Local Truck Driver to join our team in Goodyear, AZ. If you take pride in safe driving, staying organized, and supporting sustainable agriculture, we'd love to hear from you. This role is responsible for transporting organic compost between farm locations and supporting general farm and yard operations when driving loads are not scheduled.

• Operate and safely drive commercial vehicles with a GVW over 26,000 lbs

• Pull and manage towed loads over 10,000 lbs, ensuring proper securement

• Transport and deliver compost across farm locations

• Safely unload materials at designated delivery points

• Verify load accuracy against tickets and obtain delivery confirmations

• Perform basic vehicle inspections and maintenance checks (fuel, fluids, tires, etc.)

• Maintain accurate driving and delivery logs

• Follow all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety policies

• Assist with general labor tasks when loads are not scheduled

• Support site clean-up and yard organization

• Operate basic farm and composting equipment as assigned

• Assist operations team with material handling and equipment operation

• High school diploma or GED preferred

• Valid driver's license (CDL preferred if required for vehicle class) with clean driving record

• Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience preferred

• Ability to regularly lift and move 50+ lbs

• Willingness to perform physical labor and outdoor work between driving assignments

• Comfortable using GPS and basic material handling equipment (pallet jacks, loaders, etc.)

• Equipment operation experience a plus

• Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently

• Must pass background check and drug screening

• Must be able to understand and speak English
