CDL Truck Driver, Roll Off

Earn $27.50 per hour as a truck driver with Waste Management. Work full‑time shifts starting at 4:00 AM on Sunday‑Thursday or Tuesday‑Saturday, with days off on the alternate weekend. We highly value candidates with 1+ year of CDL driving experience.

Safely operates a heavy‑duty truck on designated transfer routes.

• Operate the vehicle in compliance with OSHA, DOT, and all applicable local, state, and federal regulations, keeping the truck clean and safe.
• Perform pre‑ and post‑trip inspections using DVIR and record all issues for corrective action.
• Report unsafe situations or service calls immediately to the Operations Manager or Dispatch.
• Participate in scheduled training, briefings, and meetings as required.
• Collaborate with Operations Managers to improve route efficiency and address safety concerns.
• Assist other company drivers as directed and complete all assigned duties.
• Notify the Operations Manager of any incidents, accidents, injuries, or property damage.
• Inform Dispatch or Operations Manager of issues as prescribed by the Service Machine protocol, including blocked containers or missed pick‑ups.
• Communicate customer requests or issues to Dispatch or Operations Manager.
• Completely dump all containers, leave the location clean and free of debris, and place containers correctly on the customer’s property.
• Complete and submit customer tickets when excess yardage must be removed.
• Follow route assignments and submit all documentation upon route completion.

This job has no supervisory duties.

  • Commercial Drivers License B (CDL).
  • Applicant must be at least 18 years old.
  • Successful completion of a DOT drug screen, physical, background check, and motor‑vehicle record review.
