The successful candidate:
Position comes with a $10,000 sign-on bonus! 14 shifts per month-- 7 on/7 off day shift. Will hire a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
Responsibilities- The Acute Care APP provides advanced clinical care to patients across all levels of acuity, including those requiring intensive care, within an acuity-adaptable unit.
- This role is integral to the multidisciplinary team and supports the delivery of timely, evidence-based care.
- The APP performs comprehensive assessments, formulates differential diagnoses, initiates treatment plans, and executes critical care procedures in collaboration with attending physicians and nursing staff.
- This role manages patients across the continuum of care, including medical-surgical, step-down, and ICU-level acuity.
Experience:
Minimum 1 year experience.
Education:
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant Training Program OR
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN), Nurse Practitioner (NP)
Licensure:
- Licensed/certified and eligible to practice as Physician Assistant in the State of Arizona OR
- Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN), Arizona
- For Nurse Practitioner:
Certification as ACNP or AGACNP
Certification:
American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) & ACLS
