Responsibilities- Adheres to and supports the mission, purpose, philosophy, objectives, policies, and procedures of Tenet Physician Resources.
- Adheres to the Tenet HIPAA Compliance Plan and the Privacy Standards Confidentiality Agreement.
- Demonstrates support for the Tenet Corporate Compliance Program by being knowledgeable of compliance responsibilities as expressed in the Code of Conduct; adhering to federal and state laws, rules, regulations, and corporate policies and procedures that affect specific job functions; and reporting compliance issues/concerns in a timely and appropriate manner.
- Prepares patients by gathering medical history and necessary information, and explaining testing.
- Performs various neurology studies, including EEG studies used for diagnosis and treatment.
Education: High school graduation and completion of a training course or on-the-job training.
Certification: Current R. EEGT certification through ABRET per state requirement. CPR Certification through AHA.
Experience: Work requires a level of knowledge of patient care methods, procedures, and techniques. One year of experience performing EEG preferred.
