Experienced Parts CounterpersonOur company has an outstanding opportunity for a results-focused and highly driven Experienced Parts Counterperson. As a Parts Counterperson, you’ll work with clients, vendors and service technicians/associates to retrieve and order correct parts, help keep track of inventory, etc.
Responsibilities- Determine needs and accurately specify parts accordingly
- Create and modify purchase orders, issuing purchase orders to appropriate vendors to order parts
- Record warranty parts returned
- Create special ordered parts on dealership computer system and notify ASM, technician or client upon receipt
- Review special order parts tracking and understand process
- Process and close open invoices
- Compare invoices against requisitions to verify quality and quantity of merchandise received
- Keep records of outside purchases and parts received and issued
- Perform ongoing warehouse parts inventory
- Attend department meetings as needed
- Attend annual Inventory Day
- Maintain a professional appearance at all times
- Exude strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Maintain honesty and integrity while performing all job duties
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures and codes of conduct
- A valid, unrestricted driver’s license (you must be insurable)
- Maintain a clean, acceptable, safe driving record
- Must be able to pass pre-employment screening requirements which include a drug screen, a background check, and a Motor Vehicle Report
- Be able to read and comprehend instructions and information in the English language
