Our company has an outstanding opportunity for a results-focused and highly driven Experienced Parts Counterperson. As a Parts Counterperson, you’ll work with clients, vendors and service technicians/associates to retrieve and order correct parts, help keep track of inventory, etc.

• Determine needs and accurately specify parts accordingly
• Create and modify purchase orders, issuing purchase orders to appropriate vendors to order parts
• Record warranty parts returned
• Create special ordered parts on dealership computer system and notify ASM, technician or client upon receipt
• Review special order parts tracking and understand process
• Process and close open invoices
• Compare invoices against requisitions to verify quality and quantity of merchandise received
• Keep records of outside purchases and parts received and issued
• Perform ongoing warehouse parts inventory
• Attend department meetings as needed
• Attend annual Inventory Day
• Maintain a professional appearance at all times
• Exude strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
• Maintain honesty and integrity while performing all job duties
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures and codes of conduct

• A valid, unrestricted driver’s license (you must be insurable)
• Maintain a clean, acceptable, safe driving record
• Must be able to pass pre-employment screening requirements which include a drug screen, a background check, and a Motor Vehicle Report
• Be able to read and comprehend instructions and information in the English language

While performing the duties of this job, the associate is frequently required to sit, often use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The associate sometimes is required to stand and walk for long periods at a time. The associate must occasionally lift and/or move up to 45 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
