PT - Test Bench Technician

Overview

JOB SUMMARY: The Test Bench Technician’s primary role is to perform standard testing of all types of video/electronic equipment, transfer all tested equipment back in stock or discard any equipment that tests bad. Performs any other duties that may be assigned.

• Handles all testing of video equipment
• Screens and cleans process of all equipment tested
• Transfers all equipment utilizing inventory operating software
• Performs physical inventory or cycle counts
• Communicates relevant information to all internal team members, such as change in schedule dates
• Provides departmental support
• Meets deadlines while maintaining attention to detail
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with procedures established by the company on the evaluation of management personnel.

Required:

• General computer skills
• Displays technical proficiency in MS Office applications such as Word, Excel, Access, and Power Point
• Displays proficiency in operating general office equipment such as computer, copier, fax machine, and calculator

Preferred:

• High School or GED equivalency
• Experience in telecommunications industry desired
