Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Helicopter Flight Instructor located in Baton Rouge, LA. The Helicopter Flight Instructor will be responsible for providing ground and flight instruction to students in accordance with the academy’s training standards and FAA regulations. Daily tasks include developing lesson plans, conducting pre-flight and post-flight briefings, monitoring student progress, and maintaining accurate training records. The instructor will also ensure a safe and supportive learning environment.
Qualifications- Proven skills in Piloting and Commercial Piloting
- Proficiency in Aviation principles and Flight Safety standards
- Experience with Instrument Rating and its instruction
- Strong communication skills and ability to teach complex concepts
- Current Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) and Certified Flight Instructor – Instrument Helicopter (CFII) licenses
- Commitment to fostering a safe and effective learning environment
- Experience in helicopter instruction is a plus
