Job Description As a Security Officer - Dispatch Security Clearance in Goleta, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Dispatch Officer at an aerospace and defense location, you will support daily operations from a central command post by monitoring cameras and alarm systems, coordinating patrol response, managing access control communications, and documenting incidents with clear, timely reporting.

What You'll Do:
* Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures and policies within an aerospace and defense location, and initiating emergency response activities when appropriate.
* Operate the dispatch post by monitoring alarms, cameras, radios and/or phones, prioritizing calls for service, and coordinating responses with on-site personnel per post orders.
* Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting actions taken and escalating to appropriate site contacts and/or public responders as needed.
* Maintain accurate logs and reports including incident reports, dispatch activity, key and badge activity when applicable, and shift turnover notes.
* Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, checking doors, gates, and sensitive areas, and reporting conditions that may help to deter unwanted activity.

Minimum Requirements:

* An active DoD Secret clearance is required.
* Applicants must be 21+ years of age.
* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
