Electro-Mechanical / Optical Assembly Technician
Summary
Responsible for electro-mechanical, mechanical, and optical assembly of medical device components, assemblies, and sub-assemblies, following established work instructions and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical, electronic, and optical assembly, rework, inspection, and testing
• Solder electronic components and assemble mechanical parts
• Clean, inspect, bond, UV cure, and align optical elements
• Install and test sensors and optical filters
• Follow ESD, safety, and quality system requirements
• Assemble production, prototype, and pilot builds
• Participate in continuous improvement activities

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of optical/mechanical assembly experience preferred
• Basic soldering skills (certification a plus)
• Ability to read drawings and work instructions
• Knowledge of medical device quality standards (FDA QSR, ISO)
• Experience using hand tools and small parts
• Basic computer skills (MS Office/ERP)
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
