You will be the Multi Functional Semi Conductor Manufacturing Manager for the Manufacturing team. Our team is responsible for delivering high‑performance wafer, focal‑plane‑array, and detector‑dewar‑cooler assemblies that enable mission‑critical systems.

As the Multi Functional Semi Conductor Manufacturing Manager you will be responsible for overseeing end‑to‑end production and development fabrication across the site.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Lead execution of all production and development fabrication, including wafers, focal‑plane arrays, and detector‑dewar‑cooler assemblies.
• Hire, train, and manage manufacturing technicians and supervisors, driving performance and career growth.
• Ensure clean‑room operations and protocol compliance meet the highest quality standards.
• Direct continuous‑improvement initiatives through Performance Management Teams (PMTs).
• Maintain schedule and cost targets from work‑in‑progress through delivery.

• Minimum of 8 years of Manufacturing Management in an industrial setting producing microelectronic and/or electro‑optical components.
• Demonstrated experience working across departments to meet business objectives.
• Demonstrated experience developing solutions to manufacturing challenges and modifying procedures and processes for improved performance.
• Experience in hiring, training, and performance management processes.
• Experience in managing factory performance through KPI's such as HPU, span time and inventory turns.
• Green Belt Certification or similar LSS training.
• Experience with SAP.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship.

• Black Belt training or equivalent.
• Capacity modeling and planning processes.
• Familiarity with ISO and AS quality and certification standards and processes.
• Familiarity with Statistical Process Control.
• Experience with Apriso.

This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Onsite Full‑time:
The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $106,100 - $187,105. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
