• Cleaning of optics and maintenance of chambers
• Source preparation and deposition of coatings in chambers
• Metrology including spectrophotometry, metal thickness evaluation, dimensional analysis, defect analysis, and more
• Cross‑functional communication and teamwork to track WIP, move production, and address process anomalies in a timely manner

1st Shift – Start time negotiable in Goleta, California. This is an onsite position.

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of related Thin Film deposition coating experience
• Experience with lab safety, process equipment, chemicals, and raw production materials
• Basic Microsoft Office skills
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
• U.S. citizenship is required

• Strong interpersonal communication skills and rigorous attention to detail
• Understanding of FOD and FOD reduction methods
• Experience with Excel and production tracking systems
• Experience in a cleanroom environment maintaining ESD, safety, and security protocols
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting experience

The hourly range for this role is $26.98 to $36.50. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including role, function, associated responsibilities, candidate experience, location, education, and key skills.
