As a Direct Care Professional (DCP), you will work with other dedicated professionals who share your passion for helping individuals in need. You will support adults with multiple diagnoses, including autistic spectrum disorders, emotional and behavioral differences, intellectual and developmental disabilities, dementia and other cognitive disorders.

• Assist individuals with daily living activities and maintain a safe, clean environment.
• Plan, implement, and document programs that address social, emotional, physical, and personal needs.
• Participate in community outings and transport individuals to doctor’s appointments, shopping trips, and day programs.
• Mentor other staff and conduct observations, provide feedback for required trainings.
• Provide hygiene care (bathing, showering, toileting, etc.) and support comfort with challenging behaviors (paid training upon hire).

General shifts: 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, 11pm-7am. One weekend shift per week required. Adult Day Program:
Monday-Friday, 9am-3pm.

Starting pay: $19.25/hr.

• Education in Psychology, Sociology, Education, or related field (Bachelor’s preferred).
• Comfort with hygiene care and assisting individuals with challenging behaviors.
• Willingness to work with adults with multiple diagnoses and participate in community outings.
