Raytheon seeks a Principal Contracts Specialist in the Advanced Technology Sub Business Unit (SBU) to support dynamic contracts with internal and external customers. This role involves both classified and unclassified contracts across the acquisition life cycle.
What You Will Do- Collaborate with Program Managers, Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain, and Legal as a critical member of the PMO.
- Own contract management and administration actions on proposals and contracts across the acquisition life cycle.
- Develop and respond to Requests for Proposals (RFP) / Broad Agency Announcements (BAA), negotiate contracts, administer contracts, and prepare non‑disclosure agreements and other business agreements.
- Handle contract terms such as Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF), Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Firm Fixed Price – Level of Effort (FFP‑LOE), and Other Transaction Agreements (OTA).
- Work with local DCMA/DCAA on government contracts.
- Interface with customers for correspondence, contractual changes, and contractual issues.
- Influence others through explanation of facts, policies, and practices.
- Investigate and resolve contractual matters by gathering detailed information and collaborating with relevant stakeholders.
- Provide advice and guidance on contractual rights, obligations, regulations, and policy to mitigate risks and avoid unauthorized changes.
- University degree or equivalent experience, with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience; or an advanced degree in a related field with a minimum of 3 years experience.
- Experience in Contracts, Subcontracts, Procurement, Estimating/Pricing, and/or Finance.
- Active DoD Secret clearance.
- Active transferable Top Secret clearance.
- Experience working in closed areas or classified programs.
- Experience with U.S. Government contracts under the FAR and DFARS.
- Experience developing and maintaining high-performance relationships with internal and external stakeholders and customers.

Salary range: 95,500 USD – 181,700 USD.
