Aboutthe Role
Montecito Bank & Trust is seeking a full-time Lending Services Specialist II to join the team in our Bank Operations department. As a Lending Services Specialist II, you will deliver a World Class Experience to clients and associates by being responsible for assigned moderately complex lending core task(s) administration within Lending Services department. Lending Services Specialist II will be responsible for boarding, maintaining, and calling back loans and credit cards.
You will be located in Goleta, CA with a fully on-site work schedule.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 3-5 years of previous experience in a loan servicing department or similar required.
- Understanding of key lending terms and common loan structures required.
- Experience with lending “core” systems, such as FISERV Premier System or similar required.
- Must be detail oriented.
- Ability to accurately type a minimum of 35 WPM, adequate 10-key speed.
The essential functions of this role include, but are not limited to:
- Processes loan and credit card payments and advance requests.
- Inputs account data from loan documentation into Bank’s Core system ("Boarding"). Boards new loans of all levels, renewals and modifications, and workouts of existing loans.
- Inputs account data from credit card application and documentation in the credit card core system; boards new credit cards of all types and maintains as needed.
- Prepares and reviews demands for third-party institutions.
- Performs system maintenance on the Premier and Credit Console systems.
- Monitors tickler reports, daily reports, and makes necessary corrections.
- Reviews incoming loan packages and prepares documentation necessary for lien-perfection.
- Performs escrow analysis; disburses payments for taxes and insurance.
- Researches and corrects processing and posting errors to the core system.
