Software Engineer, Systems Engineer, Electronics Engineer, Test Engineer
Description: As a Silicon Design Verification Engineer, you drive outcomes for a medium sized project of moderate impact through individual contributions to verification execution, verification standards, and verification best practices. You build new or enhance existing verification environments with foresight to anticipate and mitigate future issues. You typically work on verification environments complex enough to require a small team of verification engineers, such as a major functional block within an IP, multiple pieces of major functional blocks within an IP, or projects of high verification complexity.
You influence across teams with similar objectives by sharing information and knowledge about Silicon Engineering technologies. You act as a Design Verification subject-matter specialist and utilize comprehensive knowledge of the full breadth of Silicon engineering activities to deliver verified designs on schedule.
- Drive test plan development, including verification strategy, environment, components, stimulus, checks, and coverage, and ensure documentation can be easily understood and used, independently and/or by driving small teams.
- Work closely with architecture and designers to drive verifying the functional correctness of the logic design, independently and/or by driving small teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to debug failures (e.g., boards, software, manufacturing, design, thermal issues) and provide one or more quality solutions.
- Apply verification techniques and methodologies to drive design verification, independently and/or by driving small teams.
- Apply verification tools and languages (e.g., System Verilog) to drive design verification, independently and/or by driving small teams.
