Job Details:

• Work on 2nd floor postop surgical unit providing inpatient care

• May serve as charge nurse when needed

• Available for 48-hour weekly contracts

• Minimum one year of nursing experience required

• Inpatient surgical experience preferred

• Must hold North Carolina RN license

• BLS for Healthcare Provider certification required (AHA or ARC)

• Nursing diploma, ADN, or ASN from accredited school required

• BSN or MSN preferred

• Provide competent clinical nursing care consistent with professional standards

• Coordinate and deliver patient care utilizing the nursing process

• Perform bedside point of care testing as required

• Assess patient physical, psychosocial, educational and safety needs

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members

• Organize and prioritize care according to patient and family needs

• Participate in discharge planning and patient education

• Must be fluent in English (read, write, speak)
