The Registered Nurse provides professional, holistic patient care using the nursing process. The RN collaborates with providers and interdisciplinary staff to deliver safe, effective, patient-centered care. Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care while ensuring compliance with North Carolina Board of Nursing standards and departmental policies. The RN also provides leadership, supports teammates, and promotes a professional, inclusive environment.

• Provide, supervise, and document nursing care based on provider orders and nursing standards.
• Develop and revise individualized plans of care based on patient needs and responses.
• Care for patients with complex medical and surgical conditions.
• Perform bedside point-of-care testing as needed.
• Prioritize and organize patient care efficiently.
• Communicate effectively with providers, staff, patients, and families.
• Delegate appropriately and supervise licensed/unlicensed teammates.
• Provide direct patient care when needed.
• Serve as charge nurse or team leader when assigned.
• Participate in ongoing education, in-service training, and professional development.

• Active North Carolina RN License / Compact State License (Required)
• BLS certification (Required)

• Minimum 1 year RN experience preferred
• Med-Surg experience highly beneficial
• Proficient in Epic EMR and able to learn new systems
