$33.00/hr - $50.00/hr

The Registered Nurse provides holistic, patient-centered care using the nursing process. The RN collaborates with the interdisciplinary team, monitors patient progress, ensures regulatory compliance, and supports both licensed and unlicensed teammates. Care is delivered according to North Carolina Board of Nursing standards, hospital policies, and departmental guidelines.

• Provide, supervise, and document nursing care based on provider orders and nursing standards
• Develop and revise individualized plans of care
• Manage complex oncology, hematology, renal, and general med-surg patients
• Perform bedside point-of-care testing
• Prioritize care based on patient/family needs
• Communicate effectively with providers, staff, patients, and families
• Delegate appropriately and supervise assigned teammates
• Provide direct patient care as needed
• Serve as charge nurse when assigned
• Participate in education, professional development, and departmental training
• Mentor, coach, and precept new staff
• Respond appropriately to emergency situations
• Participate in PI activities, committees, and operational initiatives
• Maintain a safe, clean, and professional work environment
• Provide culturally sensitive, ethical, and age-appropriate care
• Follow infection control and PPE guidelines
• Handle equipment and resources responsibly

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (Required)

• Active North Carolina RN License (Required)
• BLS certification (Required)
• Additional unit-based certifications may be required

• 1+ year of RN experience preferred
• Oncology or med-surg experience beneficial

• Strong knowledge of nursing theory, oncology concepts, and chronic illness management
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Problem‑solving and critical‑thinking abilities
• EMR proficiency (Epic)
• Ability to meet physical job requirements (standing, walking, lifting)

• NC Driver's License not required unless driving a hospital vehicle
• Non-exempt (eligible for overtime)
