Job Summary
The Registered Nurse (Med/Surg) provides competent, patient-centered nursing care in accordance with professional standards. The RN coordinates and delivers care using the nursing process, collaborates with interdisciplinary teams, and supports patient and family education, safety, and discharge planning.
Required Qualifications- Experience: Minimum 1 year of nursing experience
- Education:
- Nursing Diploma, ADN, or ASN (required)
- BSN or MSN (preferred)
- Licensure & Certifications:
- Active North Carolina RN License
- BLS (AHA or ARC)
- NIHSS
- CPI-A
- Charge nurse experience highly preferred (or willingness to orient into a charge role)
- Weekends: Every other weekend (EOW)
- Holidays: Every other holiday (EOH)
- On Call: May be placed on call for one 12-hour shift per pay period
