Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Emergency Department position requiring an active NC or Compact RN license and at least one year of nursing experience.
Responsibilities- Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
- Patient population includes emergency and acute care cases
- Night shifts from 7:00pm to 7:00am, three 12-hour shifts per week
- Coordinate and deliver competent clinical nursing care using the nursing process
- Participate in interdisciplinary team discussions and care evaluations
- Engage in ongoing professional development and attend education programs as needed
- Perform bedside point of care testing as required for patient care
- Promote a safe, clean, and secure hospital environment
- Support patient education and assess readiness to learn for patients and families
- Active RN license in North Carolina or Compact state required
- Minimum of one year of nursing experience required
- Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN/ASN) from an accredited institution required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification required
