Automation Production Supervisor

Automation Production Supervisor We are seeking a hands-on, process-driven Production Supervisor to join our AP Emissions team in the automotive aftermarket manufacturing industry. This person will help lead operations in our newly commissioned catalytic converter production line. This highly automated line (70% automation) is a critical part of our next-generation manufacturing capabilities and will be operated by a lean team of just two operators per shift.

The ideal candidate is a strong leader with a solid understanding of automated manufacturing processes, quality standards, and team supervision, with the ability to optimize performance, ensure safety, and support the successful startup and ramp-up of a new production process.

Lead daily production operations of the automated catalytic converter line with strong decision-making, prioritization, and problem-solving skills to meet safety, quality, cost, and delivery targets. Ensure production planning and scheduling is executed in alignment with goals and customer requirements. Ensure strict adherence to safety, environmental, regulatory, and company compliance requirements, including intellectual property protection and electronic device controls. Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a production supervisory or team leader role in a manufacturing environment.

Hands-on experience with automated or semi-automated production lines required.

Experience in automotive, components manufacturing, or precision assembly environments preferred.

Proven ability to manage high-performing teams in fast-paced settings. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Problem-solving abilities in a high-tech, low-labor production environment. Solid computer skills, including MS Office; ERP/MRP experience preferred. Bilingual skills a plus
