Your RoleAs the People & Culture Advisor, you’ll act as a strategic advisor and culture champion—helping us align our people practices with our mission. This role will guide people strategy across the company, consult with branch leadership on workforce development, and enhance our policies and programs to strengthen employee experience, performance, and retention.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic HR Leadership:
Align HR strategy with long-term business goals. - Strategic HR Leadership:
Partner with leadership as a trusted advisor on workforce development and team dynamics. - Strategic HR Leadership:
Monitor workforce trends, engagement levels, and recommend solutions.
- Champion Seegars’ core values and mission at all levels.
- Foster a performance-driven, safe, and caring workplace.
- Maintain visibility at branches to support local teams and promote connection.
- Design systems for attracting, hiring, and growing top talent.
- Develop and manage an informative and motivating onboarding program integrated with Seegars Academy.
- Guide internal mobility and career development paths.
- Oversee training programs to build a stronger workforce.
- Lead employee engagement and recognition initiatives to promote Seegars’ family oriented culture.
- Evaluate and enhance our employee benefits package to ensure it’s competitive, meaningful, and tailored to team needs.
- Partner with brokers to manage health, retirement, and wellness programs.
- Assist with developing total compensation strategies that support personal growth, retention, and satisfaction.
- Assist with developing and overseeing HR policies, procedures, and compliance with federal and state employment laws across all operational states.
- Maintain employee records, data systems, and reporting processes.
- Address employee relations issues with fairness and professionalism.
- Proven HR experience, preferably in construction.
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment law, and benefit strategy.
- Collaborative leadership style with excellent communication skills.
- A passion for people, culture, and continuous improvement.
- Willingness to travel regularly to company branches across NC, SC and GA.
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or a related field (HR certification preferred).
