The Central Sterile Processing Trainee position is a trainee role designed to help participants meet the requirements for the Central Sterile Tech position. The position offers work experiences and training aligned with the learner’s course of study in a Sterile Processing program.

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current enrollment in a Sterile Processing program.
• Interest in learning about Central Sterile and instrumentation operations.

• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions; ask for clarification if needed.
• Good interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Effective reading, writing, and communication skills in English.
• Basic proficiency with computers and ability to learn new software quickly.
