Position Summary

TravelTelehealth Associate
We're seeking a talented Telehealth Associate to facilitate and host telehealth visits for patients and providers in assisted or skilled nursing facilities.

- Doesn’t mind being a middle person between patients, facilities, and other Eventus Teams
- Likes the idea of traveling to facilities daily to ensure telehealth visits are conducted
Hours:
Monday-Friday - 8 hour dayshift
Mileage reimbursement plan is offered.
Responsibilities- Travel to facilities and/or patient homes to provide technology support and ensure patient visits are completed with the telehealth provider
- Round with provider to see scheduled patients and assist with any communication needs between the provider and the patient
- Act as a liaison between the facility and other functions in the Company to assist with the patient’s needs
- Communicate with the scheduling and medical assistant departments regarding any patient updates or changes (e.g., new patient registration, discharged patients, scheduling, acute visits information, etc.)
- Report provider or facility concerns to Scheduling Manager
- Communicate with key facility staff members regarding patient scheduling
- Assist with routing patient paperwork for signatures, as needed
- Assist providers with check‑in and check‑out procedures, as needed
- Regularly check email and other forms of Company communication to ensure patient needs are met
- Assist with administrative tasks, as needed
- High School Diploma
- Certified Medical Assistant a plus
- 1 year of customer service experience
- 1 year of electronic health record systems a plus, but not required
- 1 year of prior healthcare scheduling or medical related experience a plus, but not required
- Ability to type 45 wpm or greater
- General Knowledge of HIPAA privacy laws
- Excellent PC skills required;
Technology savvy with experience using an iPad - Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in verbal and written form.
Must be able to frequently communicate with facilities and patients and/or with others about patient or provider requirements, complaints, and common inquiries.
