Electrical Design Engineer Intern - Summer 2026

This Electrical Design Intern performs entry level design engineering activities including learning basic transformer principles, work on similar designs, complete projects to improve accuracy of design programs and understanding product flow. There is a strong focus on the design process incorporating all stages of the project.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Prepare presentation demonstrating basic transformer knowledge
- Ascertain the basic manufacturing flow of the product
- Must have good communication skills - oral and written
- Strong understanding of Electrical Engineering concepts
- Ability to work independently or on a team
- Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering - Sophomore or Junior standing
- Must have completed courses in linear circuits and electro-mechanical energy conversion
- Completion of basic Physics and Differential Equations courses
- Previous work in a manufacturing environment
- Completion of entry level Power Systems course and electric and magnetic fields
- Functional Leaders:
Engineering, Human Resources, Sales Operations, Sourcing, Operations
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
Working ConditionsShop-floor and office environment, located on large manufacturing campus
