UNC WAYNE IS HIRING A HOSPITALIST IN GOLDSBORO, NCUNC Health Wayne is looking for a BC/BE hospitalist to join the growing Hospital Medicine program in Goldsboro, NC.
This position involves delivering high‑quality, team‑based inpatient services. We offer a highly competitive compensation package and benefits including a quality bonus, CME, retirement plan and malpractice coverage.
Goldsboro is located one hour east of Raleigh, the vibrant state capital, and 90 minutes from the NC coast. Schedule7 am–7 pm (7 days on and 7 days off)

Prefer prior hospitalist experience. - Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements:
Ability to communicate proficiently in English;
High‑level quantitative and qualitative reasoning essential for diagnosing medical and clinical issues presented by patients. - Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
North Carolina Medical License, DEA License, BLS/ACLS certification preferred;
Board certified in Internal Medicine. - Physical Demands:
Regularly required to sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. Occasionally required to stand, walk, kneel, bend and reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required include close vision. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds. - Work Environment:
Physician generally works in a medical office setting. Noise level usually moderate. Reasoning ability high‑level quantitative and qualitative reasoning essential for diagnosis.
