Job Details

Our Golden Branch is looking for a technician! Formal training is a plus but not required. Apply today to take your technician career to the next level. Dayshift, Monday‑Friday.

Guaranteed hourly wage position – no more flat rate! $28–38/hour, negotiable based on experience.

Responsibilities
  • Provide technical service to equipment.
  • Read work orders, observe, and listen to equipment in operation to determine malfunction and plan work procedures.
  • Follow checklists to ensure all critical parts are examined.
  • Examine protective guards, loose bolts, and specified safety devices on trucks, and adjust as needed.
  • Tag all warranty parts and return to warranty clerk.
  • Attend training classes and stay abreast of factory technical bulletins.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers to increase overall customer satisfaction.
  • Produce quality work that evidences pride of workmanship.
  • Maintain assigned workspace in an organized and clean manner.
  • Make every effort to achieve production objectives set by management.
  • Adhere to manufacturer’s policy and procedures related to labor operations, time and repair order documentation for warranty repairs and torque specifications.
  • Perform any other duties as outlined by the Service Supervisor or management.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Two‑year technical school graduate is a plus but not required.
  • 1–2 years fleet or dealership experience in a diesel shop is a plus but not required.
  • Must be a team player with a strong sense of commitment to the customer and service team.
  • Must be self‑motivated and conduct oneself in a professional manner.
  • Must have an inventory of hand tools to facilitate assigned repairs.
  • Heavy equipment and/or agricultural experience is a plus but not required.
  • Must be able to pass a drug screen.
Physical Requirements
  • Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate construction equipment.
  • Occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull 50–100 pounds and/or frequently lift, carry, push, or pull 20–50 pounds and/or continuously lift, carry, push, or pull 10–20 pounds.
  • Regularly required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, grasp or pull and lift objects; occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, kneel, stoop, crouch, and crawl.
  • Consistently exposed to outside weather, fumes, and loud noise.
