About the Role

This is a position designed for someone who thrives on variety and is passionate about the Jeffco community. One hour you might be deep in a donor database ensuring financial accuracy, and the next you might be designing a campaign flier. You will report directly to the Executive Director and serve as the operational hub of a small, high-impact team dedicated to serving the students and educators of Jeffco Public Schools.

Day in the Life
  • Morning: Check the JSF inbox, respond to donor inquiries, and ensure all overnight digital donations are correctly mapped in Network for Good.
  • Mid-Day: Scan and upload new grant agreements to SharePoint and coordinate with our accountants to initiate payments.
  • Afternoon: Draft a social media post for "Tuesday Giving," update the Foundation’s website with the latest news, and perhaps make a few thank-you calls to Jeffco community members.
  • Seasonally: You’ll shift gears to support major events like our Gala or help source documentation for our annual audit, always keeping the ultimate benefit to Jeffco students at the forefront.
Key Strategic Areas of Responsibility
  • Financial Operations & Systems Management
    • Revenue Administration: Manage the full lifecycle of income documentation ensuring all funds are accurately recorded and filed.
    • Accounts & Compliance: Facilitate accounts payable & accounts receivable through and support annual audit preparations.
    • Process Optimization: Maintain team efficiency by managing SharePoint folders.
  • Strategic Marketing & Community Engagement
    • Brand Ambassadorship: Design marketing collateral (fliers, banners, signage) using Canva and maintain the Foundation’s website and events calendar.
    • Digital Strategy: Execute multi-channel communication plans via social media and email blasts.
    • Communications: Manage external communications with several different platforms.
  • CRM Administration & Donor Communications
    • Database Management: Act as lead administrator for Network for Good (NFG), maintaining clean data, merging duplicates, and running donor reports. Truly understand the program and be the go to for all items that pertain to the CRM.
    • Stewardship: Oversee the end-to-end thank-you process, from automated emails to personalized calls and year-end tax letters.
  • Program Support
    • Lifecycle Oversight: Work closely with the ED on the process, implementation, and distribution of program funds. Manage the transition of grants from initial agreement to final disbursement and impact reporting.

  • Candidate Requirements Technical Proficiency
    • Database/CRM: Experience with donor management software (Network for Good or similar).
    • Design & Web: Proficiency in Canva and basic CMS/Website management.
    • Financial/Ops: Comfort with digital payment platforms (Stripe, Venmo), cloud-based filing (SharePoint), and professional financial portals.
    • Productivity: Mastery of Microsoft Office 365 and Google Workspace.
    Preferred Skills & Experience
    • Nonprofit Background: Previous experience working within a 501(c)(3) organization or educational foundation.
    • Jeffco Connection: Deep familiarity with the Jeffco Public Schools district or the Jeffco community at large.
