We are growing, expanding distribution, and add a Packaging Coordinator to our Production team at our Production Brewery in Golden, Colorado in order to meet our increased demand.

Position Summary This full-time role will coordinate day‑to‑day operation and maintenance of the canning line, perform QA/QC testing on packaged products, clean and fill kegs, and assist with general cellar work. The position supports workflow planning for packaging activities and serves as the primary point person for packaging operations; however, it does not include direct supervisory duties. The role will initially be split roughly 60% packaging and warehousing, 20% maintenance, and 20% cellar/production support.

This role reports to the Director of Operations and Safety.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Production Operations
  • Coordinate packaging operations – canning, bottling, and kegging.
  • Complete required, regular packaging quality checks (seams on digital seam checker, DO on Anton Paar CBox).
  • Operate and troubleshoot the Cask Filler, Ska De-palletizer, Mpac (Switch Back) cartoner, Hitachi date coder, can labeler, and other associated conveyance.
  • Convert canning equipment between 12oz and 16oz, according to brewery SOPs.
  • Start up, shuts down, and cleans packaging equipment according to brewery and manufacturer SOPs.
  • Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on the packaging line.
  • Work closely with production and facilities to troubleshoot and optimize equipment.
  • Cleans kegs using automated keg cleaner.
  • Enter packaging runs into Ekos (Inventory management software).
  • Aid in cellar and brewhouse duties as able or needed – transfers, dry hopping, clarifying, cleaning, etc.
Inventory Management and Orders
  • Tracks the inventory of necessary packaging materials for canning and kegging.
  • Works with Management to minimize product loss and package dissolved oxygen levels.
  • Stacks and wraps pallets, builds orders for shipment (along with rest of production team).
  • Loads shipments for delivery (along with rest of production team).
Other Responsibilities Include
  • Attend and engage in safety training upon hire.
  • Operates a forklift and scissor lift as needed in a safe manner.
  • Follow SOPs and develop novel SOPs where they are necessary.
  • Handle dangerous chemicals according to safe practice, SDS, and SOPs.
  • Maintain safe and effective operation of all associated packaging equipment.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Potential to work with beer transfers, tank cleaning, and other cellaring tasks.
  • Work quarterly all-hand events.
  • Complete Colorado-approved alcohol server training chosen by the company.
