Perform maintenance, custodial and housekeeping tasks at the Cornerstone Management Communities and maintain the community in a clean, safe, and sanitary manner. Perform all tasks to assure that the community reflects high quality appearance and in good condition for residents and visitors.

• Housekeeping & Cleaning
  • Clean common areas and resident rooms (sweep, mop, vacuum, polish, sanitize).
  • Maintain entryways, lobbies, and shared spaces (glass, doors, furniture, floors).
  • Assist with trash removal and recycling in common areas.
  • Support daily dining room cleanup and periodic carpet cleaning.
  • Use and mix cleaning products safely and correctly.
• General Maintenance
  • Perform light repairs (e.g., plunging toilets, changing light bulbs).
  • Troubleshoot basic HVAC issues; report complex problems to supervisor.
  • Complete unit turnover tasks (e.g., locks, windows, appliances).
  • Assist with snow removal, outdoor upkeep, and minor groundskeeping.
  • Maintain clean, safe, and organized maintenance rooms and shop.
  • Monitor inventory and assist with ordering supplies.
• Support Tasks
  • Help set up for resident events and activities.
  • Collaborate with team members and assist with special projects as needed.
  • Attend staff meetings and maintain confidentiality when required.

• High school diploma or GED
• One to three years’ prior housekeeping, custodial and/or maintenance experience.
• Boiler’s license.
• Valid Drivers license.
• Ability to meet physical requirements of position as determined by a pre-employment physical performed by [Name of Company]’s designated medical provider.
• Knowledge of safe cleaning chemicals that are non-allergenic.
• Ability to understand and relate well to senior adults.
• Must be flexible and able to work within a diverse team.
