Job Title
Engineering Intern
Coors Tek, a recognized leader in technical ceramics and a certified Great Place to Work company, is seeking motivated Engineering Interns to join our innovative team. In this role, you will support documentation updates, customer specification revisions, and a variety of small engineering projects. Reporting to the Engineering Supervisor, you will gain exposure to multiple facets of Mechanical Engineering and leave the internship with valuable hands on skills and industry knowledge.

Role & Responsibilities
As a Mechanical Engineering Intern, you will support our manufacturing operations by contributing to the development and optimization of processes and products. You will collaborate closely with experienced engineers and production personnel, gaining practical experience in areas such as Design for Manufacturing (DFM), production planning, and quality control.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Supporting process and documentation improvements
* Assisting in DFM initiatives and process evaluations
* Updating engineering and customer specifications
* Participating in small-scale engineering projects
This internship provides the opportunity to apply academic concepts to real-world challenges while contributing to the success of a dynamic manufacturing organization.
Job Requirements
Education & Experience
* Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's engineering program with at least two years of completed coursework
* Mechanical, Ceramics, or Materials Engineering majors preferred
* Previous engineering or manufacturing internship experience is a plus
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
* Academic background or interest in Engineering or Materials Science
* Strong problem‑solving abilities, with the capacity to evaluate complex issues and recommend effective solutions
* Ability to work collaboratively, give and receive feedback, and contribute to team objectives
* Competence in data analysis, including interpreting results and applying statistical methods
* Proficiency in Solid Works CAD and Visual Basic
* Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
* Strong technical writing and documentation skills
Duration
This full‑time summer internship will run approximately from June through August.
Target Hiring Range
Hourly: USD 20.78 - USD 25.00
