• Under the supervision of the Nurse, pass medication and provide treatments according to physician’s orders and in accordance with facility policy.
• Provide, complete, and document as assigned in a timely and accurate manner.
• Report changes in resident’s condition immediately to the Nurse.
• Follow safety policies in performing nursing care.
• Attend and participate in facility meetings and in‑service training programs.
• Practice good infection control techniques in all aspects of resident care.
• Observe residents’ rights, including but not limited to privacy and dignity.
• Safeguard the resident’s privacy and property.
• Participate in the orientation of new or temporary staff to the unit to assure continuity in the delivery of resident care.
• Promote positive public relations with residents, family members and guests.
• Provide restorative care to residents as assigned by the Nurse or as indicated in the overall plan of care.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers.

• Complete an approved training program and pass competency examinations to obtain certification as both a Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A.) and Certified Medication Aide (C.M.A.).
• Demonstrate the ability to set and establish priorities.
• Manage time efficiently.
• Frequently required to carry objects including charts and equipment up to 30 pounds; occasionally up to 50 pounds.
• Frequently required to perform standing, sitting, twisting, bending, squatting, kneeling, or crouching when assisting others; walk most of an eight‑hour shift.
• Speak, read, and write the English language in an understandable manner.
• Work well independently and with others.
• Give clear and concise direction to staff and others.

Compensation Pay Range
: $19.13 – $23.33 per hour

Reasonable Pay Estimate
:
The pay range is based on job‑related qualifications, experience, skills, education, geographic location, and internal and external equity.
