The Data Analyst interprets results using techniques ranging from simple data aggregation and statistical analysis to complex data mining. They design, develop, implement, and maintain business solutions. The role involves working directly with clients and project/business leaders to identify analytical requirements. Candidates should have a bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 2-4 years of experience, or equivalent, in data analysis or related areas.

Familiarity with standard practices within the field is required. The role relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, performing a variety of tasks under general supervision. Creativity and latitude are expected. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
