Overview
Position: Physical Therapist (PT)
Location: Golden Valley, MN
Schedule: Per Diem
Compensation: $48 per hour
Sign-On: $5,000

- Perform initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment.
- Promote continuous quality improvement.
- Teach and counsel patients/families.
- Set goals and develop treatment plans.
- Work cooperatively to identify and solve patient-specific and facility-wide needs.
- Participate in discharge planning for each patient, including placement, patient/family education and adaptive equipment.
- Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants, as well as supervise PT and PTA students.
- Conduct individual patient therapy regimens.
- Monitor patient's response to treatment and modify treatment during sessions, as needed.
- Complete appropriate documentation according to department policies and procedures.
- Participate in departmental, hospital, and community continuing education seminars and in-services.
- Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist required.
- Certified BLS or completion in first 90 days of employment required.
