Lead, develop and motivate a talented team of engineers responsible for the development of Resideo Global Climate Solutions mechanical control products. You will leverage your technical experience and skills to guide your team in the investigation and solution of challenging technical problems. You will use your leadership abilities to motivate and energize teams that are designing new or modifying existing products, parts, or processes while using advanced standards, methodologies, and tools.

By collaborating with customers and broader engineering teams, you will balance team workload and drive exceptional team performance with high impact for the business. Influence & challenge engineering teams to effectively solve complex engineering problems. Accelerate innovation and growth while leading a team of talented engineers. Partner with customers and broader engineering teams to ensure the resources and skills needed to drive business growth.

• Lead, develop, and motivate high‑performing engineering teams to achieve organizational objectives.
• Plan workloads, allocate resources, and oversee execution to ensure timely project delivery.
• Manage talent development, employee growth, and succession planning initiatives.
• Apply mechanical design principles, standards, and methodologies to develop innovative products.
• Utilize advanced engineering tools and processes to support product development and optimization.
• Solve complex technical challenges and provide guidance to teams in creating effective solutions.
• Develop and implement engineering strategies aligned with overall business goals.
• Collaborate with customers and cross‑functional teams to ensure project success and customer satisfaction.
• Communicate effectively and influence stakeholders to drive team performance and foster innovation.

• Minimum eight years of engineering experience, with at least three years in a leadership capacity.
• Experience in mechanical engineering, thermodynamics and/or combustion.

• Demonstrated leadership experience in coordinating and overseeing entry to senior level professionals.
• Proven track record of leading teams to successful project delivery.
• Track record of improving team performance and work practice through coaching.
• Competence to convey complex messages clearly.
• Ability to make timely decisions while balancing analysis and decisiveness.
• Solid knowledge of product and process technologies (die casting, plastic injection molding).
• Six Sigma green belt or Lean certification.
• Self‑motivated and autonomous, consistently taking initiative.
