THIS IS A 10 MONTH POSITION - SCHEDULE IS BASED ON THE SCHOOL CALENDAR

Job classification (Arts Education Teacher 1-10) and salary will be determined based on the selected applicant's experience and degree.

Perpich High School is seeking a Substitute Teacher to provide temporary instructional support in the absence of the regular classroom teacher. This role involves implementing lesson plans, maintaining classroom management, and fostering a positive student learning environment. The Substitute Teacher is responsible for following established curriculum guidelines, addressing students’ educational needs, and upholding school policies to ensure continuity in the learning process.

• A valid Minnesota Short Call Substitute or Teaching License is required.
• Classroom management and organization skills.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Positive interpersonal skills and ability to relate well to students, parents, and staff from diverse backgrounds.
• Experience and proficiency in the implementation of current best practices and strategies in instruction and learning.
• Knowledge of relevant learning technology and proficiency in its use (i.e. Smart board technology, MS Office Suite, Google applications, spreadsheets).

• Experience working with High School students.
