Registered Nurse (RN) – Neurology

Location: Mercy Hospital South – 10010 Kennerly Rd, St. Louis, Missouri 63128

Schedule: Full‑time | 36 hours/week

Shift: Night Shift | 7:00PM-7:30AM

• Utilize the nursing process to provide patient care
• Maintain professional accountability for provision of patient care for assigned patients
• Evaluate the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers
• Coordinate patient care in conjunction with other departments
• Maintain patient rights and confidentiality of patient information
• Perform duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy service standards

• Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with one of the following:
  Associate Degree in Nursing, Nursing Diploma, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Licensure: Must hold and maintain a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Missouri or possess compact licensure
• Experience: Previous hospital experience is preferred and may be required depending on the unit
• Certifications (Required): Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or completion within 30 days of hire
• Preferred Qualifications: BSN preferred; additional state licensure or specialty certifications preferred; prior experience in specialty area or similar clinical setting

• Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly
• Prolonged standing and walking throughout the shift
• Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat as needed to perform nursing duties
