Assists in the planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation of the operations and patient care of designated areas. Serves as a clinical resource for staff and patients in the department. Functions as a staff nurse in the department as needed. Assumes managerial duties delegated by a manager. OverviewAs a Clinical Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in planning, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating patient care and operations in designated areas. You’ll serve as a clinical resource for both staff and patients, step into a staff nurse role when needed, and take on managerial responsibilities delegated by the department manager. Qualifications- Education:
Graduate of an accredited nursing program. - Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of direct patient care experience required. - Licensure:
Must hold a current RN license in the hiring state or compact licensure, and meet all state board of nursing requirements. - Certifications:
Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association (or completion within 30 days of hire). - Preferred Qualifications:
Previous supervisory experience;
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
