Responsible for leading the planning, organization, and execution of all Assessment & Testing Center operations to ensure accurate, efficient, and student-centered services.   • Lead and supervise daily operations and staff in the Assessment & Testing Center, fostering a culture of integrity and inclusivity.
  • Coordinate and manage computerized placement testing programs at on-campus and off campus locations, ensuring equitable access and accuracy to support student success.
  • Research and implement innovative assistive technology and learning resources to keep the testing resources relevant.
  • Collaborate with faculty to schedule instructional make-up exams, organize specialized group testing, and provide research-based guidance that promotes academic achievement.
  • Administer and proctor third-party and institutional exams—including Illinois Nurse Assistant exam, GED exam, Illinois and Federal Constitution, Pearson Vue, Meazure Learning, and Certiport—while maintaining fairness and compliance with best practices.
  • Maintain and update the Assessment & Testing Center webpage to ensure clear, accessible, and student-focused information.
  • Conduct pre-admission and admission testing for Allied Health programs, supporting pathways to career readiness and community engagement.
  • Coordinate CLEP and DSST programs, including test administration, score evaluation, and faculty consultations to uphold academic integrity and continuous improvement.
  • Support New Student Orientation events and processes, creating a welcoming environment that reflects LC’s mission of inclusivity and student success.
  • Maintain all certification requirements/continuing education for the administration of tests.
  • Provide interpretation of test scores as needed to faculty and staff.
  • Learn and apply accommodations software to assist students with diverse needs.
  • Assist with Enrollment Center functions, including scheduling placement exams, advising appointments, processing applications, entering student data, and participating in recruitment activities to strengthen community connections.
  • Facilitate training initiatives for staff development, supporting a culture of lifelong learning and professional growth.
  • Maintain policies, procedures, and best practices for center operations, ensuring compliance and continuous improvement.
  • Generate reports, analyze data, and conduct research to inform decision-making and enhance service quality.
  • Assist with CRM recruit data and reporting, supporting strategic efforts.
  • Manage and update testing systems, including administrator duties such as cohort setup, information renewal, and user profile maintenance, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Handle cash transactions for proctoring fees and process monthly deposits with integrity and accountability.
Minimum Training and Experience Required to Perform Essential Job Functions
  • Associates degree required in a field related to assessment and/or education.
  • Prior experience administering standardized tests required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with emphasis on assessment and/or education.
  • Two years related experience preferred.

Team Members can expect to be paid a salary between $44,904 to $58,375 which includes an excellent benefits package. The salary will be based on a combination of relevant education, training, work experience, and skill competencies.
