The Meath Epilepsy Charity is looking for enthusiastic Support Workers to help support our residents and encourage them to develop and learn life skills, enabling them to live life to the full. We require team players with excellent communication skills who want to deliver a high level of care and support, whilst maintaining safety standards at all times in line with company policies.
Previous experience of care work desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
- To positively contribute to the health & wellbeing of the people we support, including medication administration (training will be provided).
- To provide a safe environment, in line with safeguarding policies.
- To support the residents with community integration, including social events and hobbies.
- To assist with personal care and hygiene where required.
- To encourage and enhance the people we support’s independence to enable them to fulfil their life goals.
- To support & encourage the residents to achieve maximum life skills to the best of their abilities.
- To attend 1:1 supervision meetings for personal development and continuous training with your line manager every six weeks.
- To follow as instructed any reasonable instruction given by your line manager, manager or senior manager as required.
- To record brief and accurate notes of resident daily routine / activities via in-house care system device (PCS).
- To become conversant with and implement Meath policies and procedures.
- Any other reasonable tasks that may be required.

Shifts- 7:30am – 2:30pm
- 1:45pm – 8:45pm
- 7:30am – 8:45pm
Full‑time, Part‑time, Permanent
Schedule- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekend availability
