Architectural Technician Job in Godalming, Surrey. Join an award-winning architectural practice working on beautifully crafted high-end residential and heritage projects within a collaborative, design-led studio environment.
This established architectural practice is recognised for delivering high-quality residential, heritage and commercial projects across Surrey and the South East. Known for combining traditional craftsmanship with contemporary design thinking, the studio produces bespoke architectural solutions tailored to each client. The team works from a recently refurbished, light-filled office that encourages collaboration, creativity and professional development.
Role & Responsibilities
Work on projects including high-end new builds, refurbishments and listed building restorations
Produce detailed technical drawings, construction packages and planning documentation
Collaborate closely with architects, clients, consultants and contractors
Contribute to design development and technical problem-solving across project stages
Assist with site visits, coordination and contract administration during construction
Ensure projects are delivered to a high technical and design standard
Required Skills & Experience
Architectural Technician with proven UK project experience
Strong technical ability with proficiency in AutoCAD and working knowledge of Revit preferred
Experience working across RIBA Stages 1-5
Background in high-end residential and/or heritage projects advantageous
Sound knowledge of UK Building Regulations and planning processes
Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple workloads
Clear communication skills and a collaborative approach
What you get back
Salary £40,000 - £45,000 depending on experience
Full-time position, 37.5 hours per week
