About the Role

We are currently recruiting experienced Class 1 Drivers for ad-hoc, single-drop deliveries in Gloucester and the surrounding areas. This is a great opportunity for drivers who prefer straightforward routes with no multi-drop work or heavy lifting involved.

You will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods while maintaining a professional approach at all times. Flexible shifts are available, along with the option to be paid via PAYE or Umbrella.

Key Responsibilities

Safely operate a Class 1 vehicle for single-drop deliveries

Ensure goods are delivered on time and in excellent condition

Accurately complete delivery paperwork and driver logs

Plan efficient routes to meet delivery schedules

Maintain professional communication with customers and the transport team

Report any vehicle defects or delivery issues promptly

Requirements

Valid Class 1 (C+E) driving licence

Previous Class 1 driving experience

Good understanding of road safety and driving regulations

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Flexibility to cover ad-hoc shifts

Professional manner and strong communication skills
