Disabled Children's Senior Social Worker / Social Worker

Join Gloucestershire County Council in a vital role within our Disabled Children's service. We are seeking a dedicated Social Worker or Senior Social Worker to enhance our team, ensuring the best outcomes for children and young people in Gloucestershire.

Day-to-Day of the Role:
  • Deliver high-quality social work services to disabled children and their families.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with colleagues and partner agencies to ensure comprehensive support and protection for children and young people in need.
  • Participate in regular, robust supervision to continually improve service delivery.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of service strategies and initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Registered with Social Work England.
  • Recognised qualification in Social Work.
  • Must have passed the Assessed and Supported Year in Employment (ASYE) if qualified after 2012.
  • Full driving licence and willingness to drive.
  • DBS clearance (Enhanced Adult's and Children's).
Benefits:
  • Salary range from £39,152 to £40,777 for Social Worker, and £41,771 to £47,181 for Senior Social Worker, depending on experience.
  • Annual retention payment of £2,000 .
