We are seeking dedicated Social Workers and Senior Social Workers for our Children in Care teams based in Gloucester or Cheltenham. This role is crucial in delivering exceptional services and achieving the best outcomes for children and young people in Gloucestershire. By fostering positive relationships within the service and with partner agencies, you will play a key role in providing support and protection for children and young people in need.
Day-to-dayof the role:
- Conduct assessments and provide direct support to children and young people in care.
- Develop and implement care plans that cater to the individual needs of children and young people.
- Work collaboratively with families, carers, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive support.
- Maintain accurate records and reports in accordance with legal and organisational requirements.
- Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the development of service strategies.
- Engage in continuous professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Registered with Social Work England.
- Recognised qualification in Social Work.
- Completion of the Assessed and Supported Year in Employment (ASYE) if qualified after 2012.
- Full driving licence and willingness to drive.
- DBS clearance.
