Overview
The role of a Service Maintenance and Repair Technician is multifaceted and impactful. You will be the friendly face who provides first-class service and repair work, whether at customers' workplace or home. As part of our mobile mechanic team, you will attend appointments, complete service inspections, address breakdowns, provide on-the-spot repairs, and keep things running smoothly. Comprehensive training and ongoing support will help you excel in your role.

- Communicate effectively with customers and expertly diagnose issues to keep customers informed and confident that their needs will be taken care of.
- Travel to various locations in all weathers, independently or as part of a team, delivering appointment-based work and handling breakdowns.
- Utilise technical ability to solve a variety of issues—whether fixing the vehicle by the roadside or attending an appointment—delivering timely solutions for customers.
- Be the friendly face of the UK's largest motoring organisation, providing reliable service and support to members.
- Start and finish on the customer’s driveway, with work performed from your van and paid from the moment you start until you finish each job.
- Bring your best self; the company provides van, full uniform, boots, and equipment to support your role.
- NVQ3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, or equivalent qualifications with the right experience.
- Full category B driving licence, with 6 points or less.
- Flexible working hours, which could include evenings, and willingness to work shifts Monday–Saturday between 8am and 8pm, with optional overtime.
- Basic Salary £37,155 OTE £44,000 plus overtime paid at time and a half.
