Plant Maintenance Technician; Construction Equipment

Position: Plant Maintenance Technician (Construction Equipment)
Alexander James Recruiting are currently working with an industry leading provider of Heavy Plant equipment looking to on-board a new Technician to service their client base across Gloucestershire and the surrounding areas. Responsibilities

Servicing plant equipment for a client base across Gloucestershire and the surrounding areas
Carrying out pre-delivery inspections and preparing and attachments etc. for customers
Travelling to customer sites across the region as and when required
Performing routine inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment
Representing the company in a professional manner whilst on customer sites
Carrying out all related service paperwork
Working closely with the department manager and the sales team to ensure the service is provided efficiently and effectivelyRequirements

The company have a preference for an individual with experience working as a Plant Technician in the past having worked on a variety of types of plant equipment. It is also essential that you hold an NVQ level 3 or equivalent in Plant Maintenance. You will be able to work well on your own with your own initiative and have good customer facing skills.

You will also need to have a full, clean UK driver’s license. In terms of location, you will need to be based within commutable distance of Gloucester.
